The Hardware

The Software
This great package has been created especially for this application and allows you to create precise individual designs up to 1 metre in length, and to print up to 99 repeats of any message in a single run. You can specify the size of the gap between the repeats and the software will even tell you how much ribbon and foil your print run will require!
Your PC or Laptop must use Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit ONLY) in order to operate our current version 2 software successfully. We do have customers using Windows emulation programmes on MACs.
Our new V4 software, due to be launched by the end of 2011 will take ribbon printing to the next level with many features not seen elsewhere. Allowing you to run on the latest 64 bit machines with ease. Design your ribbons in metric or imperial or simply swap between them. Overlay text on images, rotate to any angle, cut, copy, paste, flip, undo and redo are simple.
As the costs of development of this new software have been considerable and so we will apply a modest charge of £59.99 + VAT to current network members, £149 + VAT to non-members who wish to upgrade.
Anyone upgrading from version 2 will notice that the operating style is different in version 3, but we feel that the new features make the effort worthwhile! PLEASE NOTE that projects created in Version 2 are NOT compatible with Version 3.
The Consumables
- 2 x 50m print foils (usually black plus one of our 6 solid colours)
- 3 x cardboard tubes
- 1 x 50m x 45mm polyester satin ribbon
PLUS detailed, ILLUSTRATED handbook and disc of images to get you started straight away.
When you need more foils we offer the widest colour range available anywhere. Choose from 16 foil colours: black, red, blue, green, purple, burgundy, caramel, white, antique gold, lightrefelx blue gold, matt silver, hot pink, lemon, metallic silver and metallic gold.
